The tough work series 4: OPI - Cajun Shrimp

Hello lovelies ! 

Every time I look at my nails I'm like whooooo hot color ! 

And here's the reason: Cajun Shrimp !

I got this polish from Nicole and I love it, it's soooo ladylike :)

I love bright reds ! even more when there's a hint of orange to it

Application was, F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S ! Seriously, OPI's brushes are peeeeerfect ! 

These pictures are taken without top coat, see how shiny it is ? :)

Love love love !

When I fist started my blog, I didn't own any OPI, and now, after a few months, I already have 14

and still want more !

Deborah Lippmann - Glitter in the Air

Hiiii! ♥ Ivana's here! :)

I was so happy when we decided to do a guest posts! :) I'd type my thesis now but I just can't, so it's the perfect time to type something for you. Stéphanie is such a lovely girl with amazing photo skills, so I's very nervous about taking my pics. You'll see why. :D

We both fell in love with Glitter in the Air from Deborah Lippmann. I'm sure you already saw it a million times, but a month ago I finally got it in my hands. I didn't want to use it before, because Stéphanie and I decided to wear it together. :D 

Glitter in the Air (GitA) is a light pink and light blue hexagonal glitter with small round glitter in sheer light blue milky base – what a description! :D Looks really amazing in the bottle!

I used 2 coats of OPI – Sweet Heart (very subtle and light pink) and then 2 somewhere even 3 coats of GitA. Unfortunately GitA is very sheer, but it's perfect for layering. :)

 1 coat of Nail Tek -  Foundation II

2 coats of OPI – Sweet Heart

2/3 coats of Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air

1 coat of Nail Tek – Intensive Therapy II

You probably know how great Stéphanie is with taking her pictures, right? When I tried, I failed miserably! It looks very easy, you take something in your hand, pose and take a picture, well, it's not. :D  I took a miillion pictures and only one was fine, still not great but it's probably the best I could make. On some pictures my hand and fingers looked weird or my nails didn't show up so I think I'll stay with plain swatches forever. :D

OPI - Rumple's Wiggin + Swap with Nicole

Hello Sweet readers !

Today I have a soft mani for you !

Here's Rumple's wiggin (that name always makes me think of the caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland, don't ask me why ! :D)

I got that color from Ivana and I love it ! I like those kind of lilac colors :)

Sadly, the formula is a bit on the streaky side...

As you can see, I turned the whole thing matte and added some rhinestones and pearls that I got in this cool swap with Nicole ! :)

Now these pretty goodies did a long way before coming here, as the package got lost by the post office ! Can you imagine that ! Luckily everything came out ok, and I got my beloved rhinestones, GitA, OPI's Cajun shrimp and Elephantastic pink, and 3 Kleancolor holo's ! :)

A big thank you to Nicole for being so comprehensive and helpful ! 

Now I have a question for you guys, how do you remove rhinestones ? with the foils method ? 

Cause I had a HARD time removing them ! :-/

Essie - Bachelorette Bash mattified

Hello lovely readers ! :)

I know I swatched this polish before, but I think it deserves some prettier pictures !

So while I was on holiday I used the anchor's chain :)

Like I already said, this is a super color, and

the quality of this polish is extraordinary, great great formula ! 

I mattified it with Hema's matte topcoat, I don't know what I have lately, I love matte :)

Haha this picture makes me laugh, it's like I play an instrument on it :D

Usually I think going down the anchor is a bit creepy, 

but now, when I see this pictures, I wish I was there again ! :(

Zoya - Stephanie

I looooooove this color ! :)

And it has my naaaame ! 

HOOOOW COOL IS THAT ?

Thanks to Cristina for giving it to me ! :)

At first I was quite skeptical at first, thought that it would be a simple sheer polish, too white, 

but NOOOO it was soooo pretty ! 

I fell completely in love with this almost white pink polish, but not as much with it's formula, 

very tricky ! It needs a lot of coats to be fully opaque and without streaks, 

I didn't do the same number of coats on each finger so I can't tell you how much I made :S

(sorry for my messy hair :S)

It's soooo soft and subtle, love it :)

(I guess you had already noticed that !)

OPI - Second honeymoon

Hello Sweethearts ! 

I'm obsessed with light pinks these days, so I'm trying out all of those I own :)

Here's the first one, OPI's second honeymoon, one of the polishes my mom brought me from Canada...

Application was a bit long, it needed 3 coats, but dried quite fast after all, so it's not a big deal

it's also very shiny (ok you can't really see that on the pictures, but whatever :P

Ok, this isn't the most flattering picture, my fingers look weird, but it shows of the color better,

and yes, well, in my opinion, it's just Meh... I don't now, it's a bit of a dead pink, 

you guys know what I mean ?

The tough work series 3: Essence - High waist pink

Hello lovelies ! 

Pink pink pink = love !

I think 3/4 of my collection is all about pinks and reds...

Especially this one, I love it cause the color is sooo pretty !

Application was just fine, 2 coats, no bubbling, no streaks !

What more do we need ?

Any other pinks I need to know about ?

The tough work series 2: OPI - DS extravagance

Hello pretty faces ! 

Second part of the tough series, my personal favorite, 

an amazingly pretty holo !

I love love love love this polish ! 

It's not such and intense holo, but

I love the depth of it, like you're looking at stars in your nails !

(okay, purple stars don't exist but whatever!)

Application went F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S ! 

a one coater, but did 2 anyway !

Okay pardon me for the next photo fingers look soooo big, but it shows the polish better :)

Haha I've actually driven a kind of tractor thing for these pictures :D

The tough work series: Hema - long-lasting 91

Hello Sweethearts ! :)

I made 4 blogposts today, so lots of blogging for this week ! 

I made pictures with some tools, it was really fun to do, I felt like I was part of Benny Benassi's satisfaction music video :D

This Hema is a nice pink ! As usual, the formula is just GREAT !

1 coater, shiny finish, flashy color... What's not to love ?

And the best part, it lasts for Aaaaaages !

Do you know an other almost perfect brand ?
